I had a wonderful experience at City BBQ in Garner! The environment was warm and friendly, and my food hit the spot - absolutely delicious. The manager and crew were incredibly welcoming, especially Mr. Johnny Ashford, who kindly treated me to some peach cobbler on the house. It was excellent - just missing a little vanilla cream to make it perfect. The service was fast and efficient, and everything was served with care. I definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area. I'll absolutely will be back!
It’s pouring down rain. We stopped for a quick bite end up getting food to go enjoy the company and one of your staff members that was in the back cooking was excellent.
As soon as we walked in, I knew the food was going to be delicious. All the staff were kind and helpful with the menu since it was our first time here. Even without the sauce, the sandwich was delicious, and the sauce took it to a whole new level. We were passing food around between all of us Definitely will be coming here more!!!
So I got the mother load which was all the meats and 6 sides. The meats were so delicious, the ribs omg and the brisket and chicken was top tier my sister said the smoke on the turkey was perfect and it was tender and juicy. I do wish they had the burnt ends but overall the food was delicious. The sides were sides and the cornbread was my least favorite. The customer service was poor, it’s been some years since I last been and there was some older guys that were super friendly and interactive. This crowd seem to be more of this newer generation and really could work on better communication and more social interaction with the customer. Nobody checked on us to see if we were good or to see how things were going and to see how the food was, but the older crowd use to walk the floor and check on the customers.I would definitely recommend the food.
A great place to get some tender ribs on a Tuesday with there 1.99 per rib speciality. The staff there has a way of knowing what you need before you ask for it. They pay attention to all the details and they do a great job with that. I enjoy coming here for that reason alone. And the food is always fresh .
I am a regular lunch time customer. Cijay is one of the best representative to assist. The food is wonderful. I get the competition Cobb salad and she makes it just the way I like it. Everyone including all the staff from the lady who cuts the meats and the guys who make the orders are extremely nice. They even know my name, Roland. Love it I’ve also lost a lot of weight
I came in Tuesday night when ribs are 2 each. I ate three very tender juicy ribs that I ordered along with green beans and collard greens. The green beans were the wide flat kind and were tasty though a bit too black-peppery for my taste. The collard greens were too hot spicy and maybe vinegary for my taste. I had a mix of unsweetened and sweet tea that I made. A very satisfying meal. This was my second visit. I will return. There are other food options such as chicken or turkey too. I also tried the fried okra which was light and delicious. Lots of free parking available in the large lot. Handicapped parking too. Next time I will check on the if the door can be opened by button and on the bathroom accessibility.
